1 Store, 5 Great Holiday Shoes

If you are like me, you spend most of your time looking for the perfect shoe more than the perfect outfit. Shoes are my passion, my love. Needless to say I spend more on shoes than I do on clothes. So if you are planning on basing your entire outfit around one splendid pair, voila! DSW is the shoe heaven, stocked with "designer shoes, warehouse prices" to quote their motto.

DSW Zigi Soho Standard Pump $59.95
Comes in tan or black, these leather pumps with intricate stitching will surely drag the attention to your shoes.

DSW Miss Me Jocelyn 30 Lace Pump $44.95
Lace is all over the place so why not on shoes?

DSW Kelsi by Kelsi Dagger Laurie Pump $89.95
Comes in Pink (shown), Black and Grey. So perfect it will go with every outfit.

DSW Steve Madden Cristi Pump $99.95
Available in Nude (shown), Blue, Black, Red and Purple. Steve Madden is my second favorite shoes designer and this just proves why. So beautiful I might even get a pair myself.

DSW Audrey Brooke Kari Pump $39.95
Available in Gold (shown), Silver, Black and White. Sparkly, need I say more?
No outfit is complete with out the perfect shoe. If these are a little out of your price range, Forever21 has some great options as well.

A new twist on the LBD with its mesh top and sides. You will definitely be calm, cool and confident in this dress.

Universally flattering for anyone with a smaller waist. The bow adds a cute accent and the color is great for someone wanting to wear something a little out of the holiday color norm.

Papaya One Shoulder Waist Rib dress $15.99
Purple works great on all skin tones and this dress will work wonders for someone with a boyish figure. Works best with silver jewelry and accessories.

Modcloth Lingering Lovely dress $74.99
You will look lovely in this dark blue and black dress. This pairs great with black pumps or, for a more tough look, booties.

Modcloth The Finalist Dress in Gold $69.99
It doesn't matter what you win but you will definitely be the winner in this dress. With its cinched waist, cupcake skirt and halter neckline you will be sure to stun everyone at any party you attend.

H&M Dress $9.95
Both the v-neck and the boatneck neckline are flattering and the way it hugs your body is magnifique. And the price? Superb!

Forever21 Long Sleeve Belted Dress $32.80
If something with sleeves appeals to you then this is your winning match. Remove the matching belt and replace it with a complementing color for an extra contrast. Works great with a statement necklace or chunky bracelets.

Charlotte Russe Asymmetrical Ruffle Dress $44.50
Soft and girly with its flirty ruffles and light pink hue, this is sure to wow the crowd. Pair with some ballet flats and pretend to be a sugar plum fairy.

Arden B. Sequin Mini Dress $79
Bring the attention to you in this little knockout number. Its longer sleeves balance out the shortness of the dress. For a great complement, paint your nails a black or dark green.

Hopefully one of these dresses will strike your fancy. Have a happy and merry holiday season!

Hostess with the Mostest: Part 1

I love the holiday season. I love the parties, smells and sights that come along with this glorious time of year. Whether you are celebrating Christmas and Christ's birth or not, there is something for everyone to enjoy this time of year. But while we are enjoying this lovely season our party hostess's are busy bustling around, preparing for either the most talked of party of the season or a major bust. So let's celebrate all their hard work this year by giving them a piece of our gratitude.... and amazing gifts!

Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland - $49

This excellent palette comes with everything your hostess needs for her holiday look. It includes 15 eyeshadows, 3 get-the-look cards, Snow Bunny bronzer, La Vie En Rose blush, Glamour gloss in Pillow Talk, and Shadow Insurance Primer. Don't go without this helpful kit.

O.P.I Eighteen Piece Mini Nail Colour Set - $48
A kit based off the popular brand which includes over 50 colors. Comes in a wide variety of colors ranging from yellow to black. I also love the kooky names the brand gives them. This kit is only available online or in stores at Sephora.com

Philosophy Share the Joy Set - $36
What better present is there than a relaxing after party bath? This kit is great for anyone new to the Philosophy brand. It comes with 4 bath washes and matching lip glosses in: Candy Cane, Cinnamon Buns, Bubbly, and Peppermint Bark.

Sephora Collector's Edition Fragrance Sampler for Her - $75

This is the best gift of all, particularly for anyone who loves perfume. This sampler comes with 9 small sized fragrances from these popular brands:
